This was a special session. I love all my families {truly} but this one had its own twist. Christina and Steve just introduced their fourth child to this world — a precious baby girl … after already having three boys. Not only is this special in its own right, but they then told me that this is the first girl to be born in Steve’s family for generations. I’m talking, like 891588342 boys had been born and only now have they been graced with sweet Emilie Diana. I love it. She’s going to be one tough cookie growing up with nine boy cousins.
Our goal was to get images of the entire family and then end it with individual images of Miss Emilie.  Christina is an interior designer and their home is stunning. I love the color in this session, so you’ll see few b&ws. We piled onto the master bed and into the foyer for the family images and then stuck to the nursery for the last images of Emilie.
C&S, thank you so much for trusting me to capture such a blessed time in your lives. I enjoyed my time with your family and your boys are AHdorable. So, without further ado, here they are. xo

Ohmigosh. Just look at this face!

Christina refurbished this amoire. I am obsessed with the detail of it.

She painted the inside this fantastic blue. Be still my heart! I had already planned on getting these girlie details, but I love that Christina specifically asked me to. She’s been waiting for a little girl for such a long time. 🙂
